Asset / Environment modeling and texturing and Layout

 

The cinematic trailer for Lineage M was a well established universe and aesthetic so for this project we had to work and focus on the atmosphere true to the source material and lore

Assets & Layout

A lot of the work was to get the assets and the elements of the environments to fit the dark setting where the confrontation between the 2 heroes takes place. The two face off in a volcanic area ravaged by fire and lava flows.

Nailing the ground elements and there aesthetic was key for the shots, both wide shots but also very closeup and detail shots.

So collecting references from historical sources was a key point of the process.
 

Ground blood and asset painting on the bodies was also important, working together with the character and VFX department at Digic pictures to make everything come together in the final shots.

Finishing move

At the end of the cinematic we see the special ability of the character.

Staying true to the lore of the character was very important . Working Together with the VFX team we managed to create a final scene true to the Lineage Universe.
